Welcome to 3DMedia's 3D Photo Gallery! You can use this gallery to share your 3D pictures with the world. We also provided some 3D photographs of our own for you to enjoy.
Need the Tools to Create and View 3D Photos on Your PC?
You'll need a 3D viewer application of some kind to view the 3D photos in our gallery. Our 3DComposer software lets you view 3D photos on your PC and easily share them in the gallery. You can download 3DComposer for free! It includes a free trial of 3D photo editing features and 3D photo creation features that let you create 3D photographs with any camera you already own. For more information about 3DComposer or the monitor you'll need to view 3D pictures, check out the 3DComposer product page.
Download and View Pictures
The gallery first shows "thumbnail" images. When you click on these, intermediate-sized images appear. Images in either of these sizes are in 2D format only. To view an image in 3D, click the intermediate-sized image. This downloads the full-sized image to your computer for viewing in 3D. If you have a 3D viewer application installed on your computer, the 3D images should open in a separate window. You can also choose to save the 3D images to your hard drive for later viewing on your PC, 3D TV, or other 3D display.
Note to Nintendo 3DS users: If you download 3D pictures onto your PC and then transfer them to your 3DS on its SD card, there are restrictions on MPO file and folder names that it can read from the card. It should work to create a folder on your SD card named "DCIM\NNNLLLLL" and store the files in that folder as "LLLLNNNN.MPO", where each N is a number and each L is a letter.
You can search the gallery to find images based on their titles, descriptions, and keywords. You can also add comments or ratings to other peoples' images that you find interesting. Have fun!
You may upload 3D pictures without registering. Simply click the "Upload pictures" link in the top menu, then click the "Browse" button that appears, then select the file(s) to upload. Note that only 3D images (MPO or JPS files) are accepted. After uploading is complete, click the "Continue" button. Pictures from unregistered users are stored in the Anonymous Pictures album within the User Galleries category.
You'll have a lot more control as a registered user. You can create multiple public or private albums for storing pictures. There are several options for organizing your photos in albums. You can add titles, descriptions, and searchable keywords to your albums and pictures. You also have to be registered to comment on anyone else's pictures. Use the following procedure to register and upload 3D pictures:
- Create an account
Click the "Register" link in the top menu. The user account you create also allows you to access the 3DMedia User Forum.
- Log in to the Gallery
Click the "Login" link in the top menu, then enter your username and password.
- Upload your 3D pictures (MPO or JPS files)
Click the "Upload pictures" link in the top menu. All pictures must be uploaded into albums, so if you don't have an album yet, you'll be asked to create one. Next, click the "Browse" button and choose the file(s) to upload. After uploading is complete, click the "Continue" button.
If uploading fails for some reason, select the single picture uploader from the drop-down menu on the right. This one doesn't rely on Flash and may work better for users of mobile devices or of course any computer that doesn't have Flash installed.
You can upload up to 200 MB of photos for free. If you need more storage, you can buy it from us at the reasonable rates shown in the table below. Please email us at gallery at 3dmedia.com to arrange an account upgrade.
Some items have help menus, so you can click the icon where available. If you're having problems using the gallery, please contact us via the "Contact Administrator" link under the "Home" menu, or just email us at gallery at 3dmedia.com and we'll be happy to help.
